Also Angelina Jolie's name is also made very prominent here and its the only name mentioned for cast. It might be possibility that she's the main character of the movie with other supporting characters. Also Angelina is worlds reknown and established actress and her fans looking her individual name would capture their attention in a glance. This would draw audiences in and make the film more credible as many people would be intrigued to see what Jolie's new film is like after having been familiar with many of her previous films.

Furthermore, Angelina Jolie's picture is on great significance the fave expression tells the audience a story. The deep eyes and timid colors can make audience depict several things. This image is taking advantage of Jolie's attractiveness in order to sell the film and to appeal to the male audiences that may have initially been put off the film as the protagonist is a woman. The all black outfit suggests that Jolie is wanting to go unnoticed and may be undercover which is informing people of the narrative of the film.
The use of an orange/brown/white colour pallet makes the film neutral to both genders so it appeals to wider audiences.
The tagline also leaves an impression on the audience to really get to know about who salt is?
Furthermore it just tells us about the year when the movie would be released creating more curios impact on the audience.
This movie "Snow White And The Huntsman" has prominant cast such as Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron which are mentioned in bold right above the Movie's title.
This movie poster also follows the simple codes and conventions of any film poster.
The three main characters of film are shown to the significance of the film that is the wicked witch , the snow white and the huntsman.
Also there are black crows shown in the background which also signifies as death or negativity. The actor/actresses names are displayed under each character shown on poster. Under this the title is written, which is in the same place as the other posters I have analysed. Below this is the typical details section in that distinctive writing. It also says ‘From the Producer of Alice in Wonderland’; this may attract a wider audience as people who enjoyed watching that may want to watch this also.

Film poster for American Beauty released 1999. One of the most simplistically beautiful film posters I saw during my research. The flesh of a white woman accompanied by the rose not only plays on people’s perspective of beauty, but it adds a soft tone and controversy towards the subject. The small serif type font in white adds an elegance to the tone. And the ending “Beauty” in bold emphasizes beauty, meant to pop out and grab the audiences’ attention. I don’ agree with Annette Bening being a part of the poster but because I feel this film is based of Kevin Spacey’s character, or IS Kevin Spacey’s character. But the symmetry adds to the effect of being beautiful since most believe beauty based on symmetry. Despite the fact that this poster doesn’t represent the movie and its content, it at least represents a large portrayal of what the general population finds to be beautiful therefore coming to an almost universal agreement.
